Utopia of Hopes

This body of work connects abstract visuals with an intimate narration of voices—fragments from personal diaries and voice memos—that echo both the despair and resilience of a generation navigating a late-stage capitalistic individualistic world.

The piece reflects on the sense of disconnection that emerges amidst the promise of constant connection and the nearly-magic realism images offer a temporary escape. The visual murmur hopes, fears, and questions, searching for light in an era overshadowed by climate crisis, socio-political turmoil, and the weight of individualism.

“Utopia of Hopes” does not offer answers but instead creates space for reflection. It questions the future of a generation raised in a world teetering on the brink, while celebrating the small acts of hope, creativity, and solidarity that resist despair. This installation reminds us that in the midst of darkness, the search for connection and meaning can spark unexpected pathways to light.
